Call for Nominations – CCTNB Board Members 2018

The College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick, a non-profit Organization established in June 2017, regulates the practice of Counselling Therapists by ensuring ethical services that will protect the public we serve.  We are pleased to present a call for nominations for board positions for the 2018 – 2020 governance year.

The newly formed Nominations committee will conduct the nomination process and welcomes suitable candidates to apply to fill board positions for the coming year. A slate of candidates will be presented to the board for approval and if elections are required, they will be conducted during the Annual General Meeting on October 20th, 2018.

Volunteering for these important governance roles provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of CCTNB, to contribute to the professional practice of counselling therapy in NB, and to work with a dedicated group of volunteers and staff. Being  a member of the board of directors requires strong leadership skills, a significant commitment of time, and ability to assess information for decision-making, and a willingness to take the  “big picture view” to guide the College into the future.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a nomination form or present their interest in person during the AGM meeting on Saturday, October 20th, 2018.

The CCTNB Nominations Committee is in the process of nominating:

  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer/Secretary
  • 3 Board Members
