There has been some confusions with the submission of Criminal Record Checks with vulnerable sector clearance within cities in N.B.  We recommend the following:

  • If you work in Private Practice or provide EAP, please indicate this in the RCMP or City Police application form;
  • If you work for an employer, you are required to submit a letter from your employer confirming that you need a Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector clearance done.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact your local RCMP or City Police Force. The College of Counselling Therapists will accept copies of your CRC with vulnerable sector clearance by e-mail when you receive it.  Please note that you have until June 30, 2017 to submit all your documentation.  Thank you!
