The College\u2019s complaints process is intended to address serious concerns related to professional conduct, ethical obligations, or standards of practice. Filing a complaint is an important step in helping the College fulfill its mandate to protect the public. Concerns should be based on specific actions, decisions, or behaviours that may constitute a breach of professional or ethical standards.<\/p>\n
A complaint may be appropriate if you believe a licensed counselling therapist or candidate has: breached the College\u2019s Code of Ethics<\/a>\u200b or Standards of Practice<\/a>; acted in a manner that may place clients or the public at risk; or engaged in unprofessional, unethical, or incompetent conduct.
