Eleanor holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Dalhousie University and a Masters of Arts in
Counselling.

Eleanor started her professional career with Child Protection Services in Ontario, working with
adolescents. Since then she has worked with various non-profit organizations and in 2014 opened her
own private practise, Changing Tides Counselling, working with individuals and families. She is
passionate about providing a safe and calm place for clients and being present with them as they
navigate their way through difficult struggles. Her training, personal experience, and journeying with
clients has shaped her into who she is today as a therapist.
