Shelagh has three Bachelor degrees in Science, Business Administration and Education as well as a Master’s degree in Counselling. She is in her second year as a school counsellor for K-Grade 5 students after working for 14 years as a middle school counsellor.
Before starting her favourite job as a school counsellor, she worked in private practice and as an education consultant for 13 years.
She has been involved in the journey to legislation for 25 years and served on the Federation Committee from 2008-2017 when we opened the doors of CCTNB. Since then, she has served on the Board in several capacities. At the moment, she is CCTNB’s Treasurer, as well as the Co-Chair of the Supervision Committee and a contributor to the Registration Committee.
